Terms and Conditions for Pinehurst 3D & VR Skills Beginner Course
Program Overview
The program is designed to teach high school students the fundamentals of 3D modelling (using Autodesk Maya or similar software) and Unity game development in a structured, after-school environment.
Classes will be held weekly, with each session lasting approximately one hour.
Enrollment and Eligibility
Students must be enrolled in intermediate or high school (grades 7–13) to participate in the program.
Enrollment is confirmed upon receipt of payment and submission of the signed registration form.
Students must have access to the required hardware/software as outlined in the program details (e.g., computers, Autodesk Maya, Unity).
Fees and Payment
Program fees must be paid in full before the start of the first class or according to the payment schedule provided during registration.
Fees are non-refundable unless the program is canceled by the instructor or organization.
Late payments may result in suspension of enrollment until payment is received.
Attendance and Participation
Regular attendance is expected to ensure students benefit fully from the program.
If a student misses a class, catch-up materials may be provided at the instructor’s discretion, but no additional make-up sessions will be offered unless otherwise stated.
Students are expected to actively participate in class activities and complete assignments/projects as required.
Code of Conduct
Students are expected to behave respectfully toward instructors, classmates, and equipment during all sessions.
Disruptive behavior, including inappropriate language or actions, may result in removal from the program without refund.
Students must follow all rules regarding the use of software licenses and hardware provided during classes.
Intellectual Property
Any projects, models, or games created by students during the program are their own intellectual property unless otherwise stated (e.g., collaborative projects).
Students may not use copyrighted materials without permission when creating assets for their projects.
Liability
The instructor/organization is not responsible for any technical issues arising from students’ personal equipment or software during online classes or at-home practice sessions.
The instructor/organization is not liable for any injuries or damages occurring during in-person classes unless caused by negligence.
Software Usage
Students must adhere to all licensing agreements for Autodesk Maya, Unity, or any other software used during the program.
Any misuse of software (e.g., piracy) will result in immediate removal from the program without refund.
Cancellation Policy
The instructor/organization reserves the right to cancel classes due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., illness, emergencies). In such cases, a make-up session will be scheduled or a prorated refund will be issued.
If a student withdraws from the program after it has begun, no refunds will be issued.
Privacy Policy
Any personal information collected during registration (e.g., name, contact details) will be kept confidential and used only for program-related purposes.
Students may not record or share class sessions without prior written consent from the instructor/organization.
Agreement
By enrolling in this program, students and their parents/guardians acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions.
